The 2025–26 College Hockey South season is in full swing. From women’s hockey to the ACDC, October had no shortage of standout moments. Here are the top stars from each division.

Women's Division
1st Star: Nina Molina, Clemson University - 12 G, 4 A, 16 P in 3 GP
Molina followed up her breakout September with a dominant October, leading Clemson to a 6-0-0 start to the season.
2nd Star: Claire Carson, University of Alabama - 6 G, 7 A, 13 P in 4 GP
After a slow start (by her standards) to the 2025-2026 season, the reigning MVP Claire Carson has dominated the month of October, trailing only Molina and Chloe Valente for most points scored.
3rd Star: Grace Seamon, University of South Carolina - 5 G, 5 A, 10 P in 3 GP
The freshman winger has helped the Gamecocks turn their season around after a pair of blowout losses to begin the year. Since the 0-2 start, South Carolina has won five straight, scoring at least six goals in each game.

Division 2
1st Star: Liam Lecauchois, University of Florida - 1 G, 5 A, 6 P in 2 GP
Lecauchois led all skaters in points in the Gators’ wild series win over the defending National Champion Tampa Spartans. The sophomore is Florida’s leading scorer over the past two seasons.
2nd Star: Alex Moeller, University of Tampa - 4 G, 5 A, 9 P in 7 GP
It was an up-and-down month for Tampa, seeing more losses than wins as of late. One constant, though, has been the steady stick of Alex Moeller. Moeller has been at the center of Tampa’s early-season offensive explosion.
3rd Star: Cole Vallese, University of Tampa - 6 G, 2 A, 8 P in 6 GP
The senior sniper led Division 2 in goals scored in October, playing exactly at a goal-per-game pace.

Division 3
1st Star: Tommy Chunchukov, Middle Tennessee State University - 8 G, 6 A, 14 P in 6 GP
We’re running out of superlatives for Chunchukov, and the season is only two months old. The first year Blue Raider has been a dominant force, helping MTSU receive the top spot in the initial ACHA M3 rankings.
2nd Star: Will Van Sicklin, Clemson University - 7 G, 3 A, 10 P in 5 GP
Van Sicklin netted a hat trick in Clemson’s most significant win to date, a 6-3 triumph over fourth-ranked South Florida. The forward also chipped in two assists, punctuating what was an unforgettable performance.
3rd Star: Christian Sousa, Kennesaw State University - 0 G, 9 A, 9 P in 4 GP
You often hear the phrase: “you can’t pass the puck into the net”, but if it’s Christian Sousa passing the puck, there’s a good chance it'll find the twine. The KSU defenseman led all College Hockey South players in assists in October.

Men's ACDC
1st Star: Brayden Curry, Florida Institute of Technology - 6 G, 6 A, 12 P in 6 GP
Curry was conspicuous by his absence at Battle at the Beach, as the usually high-flying Florida Tech offense went cold, resulting in a 0-2 weekend.
2nd Star: Alex Jensen, Florida State University - Hat trick in GOTW vs Florida
Jensen produced the most clutch performance of Battle at the Beach, scoring thrice against bitter rival Florida. Not only did the hat trick occur in the CHS Game of the Week, but it also sent FSU to the championship game (which they later won).
3rd Star: Nick Bowers, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - 8 G, 3 A, 11 P in 4 GP
Embry-Riddle has surprised many with the performance of its M3 and ACDC squads, which have competed at a much higher level than preseason expectations. Nick Bowers has led the charge for the ACDC Ice Eagles, playing at over a two-point-per-game pace.
Congratulations to our October stars of the month!
