Women’s Division
After a trio of wins this weekend and securing victory at the inagural Athens Invitational, the South Florida Lady Ice Bulls moved into a tie for second place with Auburn. The Lady Ice Bulls convincingly defeated Tennessee, Georgia, and Georgia Southern.
The Georgia Ice Dawgs picked up their first two wins of the season to get out of the division’s cellar. The Tennessee Lady Vols also picked up their first win, which is also their first win in program history.

Division 1
South Carolina has been bumped from their top spot in Division 1 for the first time this season. The Gamecocks won the Veteran’s Cup in Huntsville, AL, but were not eligible to receive points for their victories.
However, the Georgia Ice Dawgs were eligible to receive points, and they took full advantage. Surprisingly, the Ice Dawgs swept the perennial frontrunner Tampa Spartans in Tampa’s home rink. With the four points, Georgia overtakes South Carolina for first place.

Central Florida boosted itself into second place with wins over Embry-Riddle in Orlando, FL. The Knights have 10 points on the season, one more than the two third-place teams, Florida Atlantic and Lynn University. However, Central Florida has played three more games than Florida Atlantic and two more than Lynn.
Tampa and Miami split their series in Spartan territory, pushing both teams ahead of Florida Southern in the standings.
The North Division standings remained unchanged.

Division 3
Austin Peay’s slide down the standings continues following their series with South Carolina. The Gamecocks battered the Governors in consecutive games and moved into second place. Two weeks ago, Austin Peay held third place in the North Division, but after Week 10, they fell to fifth place.
Florida Atlantic took over first place from idle Florida Tech after the Owls thrashed the Ospreys of North Florida on consecutive nights. After gaining their last possible point against Embry-Riddle, the South Florida Bulls pulled into the final playoff spot in the South Division.
After Week 10, all three South Florida teams (Division 2, Division 3, and Women’s) are in playoff position. The Bulls join South Carolina (Division 1, Division 3, and Women’s) as the only College Hockey South schools with three teams in playoff spots.
