With the fall semester finishing up, we’re rapidly approaching playoff season, and the races are heating up. One team has already clinched, and three are guaranteed a trip to playoff weekend, but 25 spots are still up for grabs as we head into the break!

Women’s Division
Tampa will head into the holidays knowing its ticket to Fort Lauderdale is punched as the first College Hockey South team to clinch a postseason position. The Lady Spartans won all 10 of their conference games without trailing at any point.
The top three teams from each division will advance to the postseason, plus two wild-card teams.

Men’s Division 2
No conference games have taken place since our previous update, but all three CHS M2 teams would qualify for the ACHA Southeast Regional, per the latest rankings. Tampa has held firm at number two, Florida Atlantic at number 11 and Florida at 15. The top 16 teams in the Southeast region rankings qualify for regionals.
All three Division 2 teams will advance to the postseason.

Men’s Division 3
No division has seen as much movement since our last update (Post Week 10) as Division 3, but the playoff field remains mostly intact.
Kennesaw State held the 10th seed after Week 10, but a pair of lopsided losses to top-ranked Middle Tennessee State shot them down the rankings and put them on the outside of the playoffs. Previously unranked Vanderbilt jumped into the 12th and final spot.
The top 12 Division 3 teams will advance to the postseason. Standings are determined by ACHA rankings.

Men’s ACDC
The ACDC playoffs are shaping up to be the Sunshine State Invitational—all six teams in playoff position hail from Florida, including first-year Jacksonville University.
The top six teams in ACDC will advance to the postseason.
