The best of College Hockey South is set to take center stage once again.


The 2026 College Hockey South All-Star Challenge brings together the conference’s top talent for a weekend that celebrates the skill, passion, and growth of hockey across the South. Featuring standout players from across all divisions, this year’s event promises high-level competition, new storylines, and an exciting showcase of the league’s brightest stars.


Building off the success of previous All-Star events, the 2026 edition introduced a fresh twist with a live draft format, adding another layer of anticipation and energy as teams were formed in real time. From seasoned veterans to breakout performers, every player selected earned their place on this stage.


Fans can expect a fast-paced, highly competitive environment as teammates become opponents and rivalries are temporarily set aside in pursuit of All-Star glory.

Throughout the weekend, points will be awarded to the teams based on their performance in both the All-Star games and the Skills Competitions. The teams (one men, one women) with the most points at the end of the weekend will be crowned the 2026 College Hockey South All-Star Challenge Champion. Here's how the points will be earned:


All-Star Games:

  • Winning each Period (1 point) – If a team wins a period, they will earn 1 point. If there’s a tie in the period, no points will be awarded.

  • Winning the Game in Regulation (3 points) – A team earns 3 points for winning the game in regulation time.

  • Winning the Game in a Shootout (2 points) – A team that wins in a shootout earns 2 points.

  • Losing the Game in a Shootout (1 point) – A team that loses in a shootout earns 1 point.

  • Winning the Game by 4 or More Goals (1 point) – If a team wins by 4 or more goals, they earn an additional 1 point.

  • Shutout Win in Regulation (2 points) – A team that wins by shutout in regulation time earns 2 additional points.

Skills Competitions:

  • Winning an Event in the Skills Competition (1 point) – A team will earn 1 point for winning any of the events in the Women's or Men's Skills Competitions.



The rosters for the All-Star teams include the top athletes in both the women’s and men’s divisions, selected for their exceptional performance and dedication throughout the season.
