Before its official rebranding in February of 2022, the College Hockey South (CHS) conference was formerly known as the South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference (SECHC). In its early years, represented teams were limited to those a part of the SEC. However, under its new name and mission, the conference now includes teams from 29 schools across seven southeastern states.
College Hockey South will return to its roots this year, reviving the annual SECHC tournament. Presented by Field Pass, this year's tournament will be held in Pelham, Ala. March 22-24, at the Pelham Civic Center, located at 500 Amphitheater Rd, Pelham, AL 35124.
All Division 1 and Division 2 SEC teams within CHS will compete at this year's tournament. Teams include Auburn University, the University of Alabama, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, the University of Mississippi, the University of South Carolina, the University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University.
Seeding and bracket determination will be based upon a team’s combined average goal differential and strength of schedule according to MyHockeyRankings.

Guest tickets start at $15 dollars, and a pass to all games can be purchased for $30 dollars. Tickets for the event can can be purchased here or at the arena.
The SECHC Tournament is the conference’s last scheduled tournament, and is set to officially wrap up the 2023-2024 CHS collegiate club hockey season. The tournament comes just two weeks after the Amateur Athletic Union College Hockey (AAUCH) National Championship where two SEC CHS teams—the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and the University of Florida Gators—made history by taking home the gold.
