As fall semester action wraps up, teams aim to finish strong with a win to carry momentum into the holiday break.
Game of the Week: University of Alabama (D3) at Kennesaw State University (D3)
The University of Alabama Frozen Tide will travel to Georgia to play the Kennesaw State University Owls in a two-game series.
The Frozen Tide are ranked fourth in the Division 3 North Division with a record of 7-6-2 (4-3-1), while the Owls are ranked fifth with a 7-3-0 (4-2-0) record.
Through 15 games played, Alabama’s Rhys Gulotta (91) has 18 points, 13 of which are goals. Gulotta’s 13 goals put him fourth in the College Hockey South Division 3 ranks for goals.
Game one is set for Friday, Nov. 22, at the Atlanta Ice House, with puck drop at 9:45 p.m. The second game of the series will take place Saturday, Nov. 23, at 8:45 p.m.
In their last outing, the Owls swept the University of Alabama at Birmingham, scoring 32 goals in two games. Sebastian Zamborsky (90) had seven goals and 10 points in the series, while Hudson Orgeron (93) had five goals and two assists.
Through eight games this season, Zamborsky has scored 23 points, which puts him tied for fifth in Division 3.

University of Tennessee (D1) vs. University of South Carolina (D1)
The University of Tennessee Ice Vols and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks will participate in a home-and-home series this weekend.
Game 1 will be played at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 22 at Flight Adventure Park in Irmo, South Carolina, while Game 2 will be played at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 24 at the Knoxville Coliseum.
The Ice Vols are currently ranked third in Division 1 standings with a record of 11-2-1 (5-2-0). They will look to bounce back after falling 4-1 against the University of Georgia Ice Dawgs last Friday.
Mitchell Spranklin (9) leads the Ice Vols in scoring this season with eight goals and 12 assists through 14 games.
The Gamecocks, currently ranked second in Division 1, have a busy weekend ahead of them, playing Friday at home, Saturday outdoors in Charlotte and Sunday on the road in Knoxville.
The high-scoring Gamecocks have averaged 6.5 goals per game this season, with John Riggins (25) leading the way with 14.
Riggins leads all of Division 1 in points with 27.
Florida Atlantic University (D2) at University of Central Florida (D2)
The Florida Atlantic Owls are closing the fall semester on the road in a two-game series against the University of Central Florida Knights.
Game one is on Nov. 22 at 9:00 p.m., while game two will occur on November 23 at 4:00 p.m. Both games will take place at Orlando Ice Den.
The Owls, ranked second in the Division 2 South Division, have been on an eight-game win streak since Sept. 21.
Forwards Brady Baehser (88) and Caleb Owens (8) have cracked 20 points on the season, with 22 and 21, respectively.
The Knights go into this series with an overall record of 6-6-1 (4-3-1-1), and Colin Jackson (4) leads the offense with 12 points.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (D2) at University of South Florida (D2)
After splitting last weekend’s series with the University of Florida (D1), the Ice Bulls look to enter the holiday break with two wins as they host the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Ice Eagles.
Game 1 is on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7:45 p.m., and game 2 is the following afternoon at 2 p.m. Both games will be held at the AdventHealth Center Ice rink.
