Look out Savannah, college hockey is back. The Savannah Hockey Classic is less than a week away.

SAVANNAH – College Hockey South (CHS) will host the 25th annual Savannah Hockey Classic, the biggest college hockey tournament in the South, at Enmarket Arena on January 12th and 13th.

The tournament will feature four teams from across the Southeast, including one D1 and three D2 teams. The original four teams, the University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Tennessee and University of Florida will compete in a four-game showdown. The first two games will take place on Friday, January 12, with the championship game and third place game happening Saturday, January 13th.

CHS will host the tournament at Enmarket Arena, 620 Stiles Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31415. There will be plenty of opportunities for press to interview players and staff. Guest tickets start at 10 dollars, and a pass to all four games can be purchased for less than 25 dollars.

The commissioner of College Hockey South, Kyle Knell, is excited to bring back the Savannah Hockey Classic for the 25th year.

“This year’s tournament will be extra special,” Knell said. “This is the 25th tournament. We have a new format where we will have an official championship game and no more tiebreakers. We’re back to the original four teams, and we get to kick off the ECHL All-Star week. We have a lot planned for the fans and are looking forward to another successful event.”
