November 2025 | 3 Stars of the Month

Our bellies are full, the leaves have fallen off the trees and hockey season is in full swing. The penultimate month of the year has come to a close, and these stars of the month stuffed the stat sheet more than your Thanksgiving turkey.

Women's Division


1st Star: Marisa Bonilla, University of Florida - 12 Goals, 4 Assists, 16 Points in 3 Games Played

The star forward continued her explosive offense, netting 12 of the Gators’ 31 goals and having a hand in half of them. Bonilla scored nine of her goals in one weekend against rival Florida State, five on one day and four the next.


2nd Star: Joie Burns, University of Tampa - 7 Goals, 2 Assists, 9 Points in 3 Games Played

Of the Lady Spartans’ 24 goals, Joie Burns netted or assisted on nine of them, establishing her as the leading scorer on the top team in the division, which remains undefeated in conference play.


3rd Star: Beth McArthur, University of Florida - 5 Goals, 1 Assist, 6 Points in 2 Games Played

The Gators found another hot stick in McArthur, who netted five goals over two games, establishing herself on the team as one of the go-to players in the offensive zone.

Division 2


1st Star: Danny Griffin, University of Tampa - 8 Goals, 5 Assists, 13 Points in 7 Games Played

Griffin leads the Spartans in points with 20, earning himself over a point per game, and sits second among all skaters in goals. Six of the goals have come on the power play, and two have been game-winners.


2nd Star: Jackson Nieuwendyk, Florida Atlantic University - 6 Goals, 1 Assist, 7 Points in 3 Games Played

November was a good month for the first-place FAU Owls, as they swept in-state rival Florida in their three-game series. Jackson Nieuwendyk netted a hat-trick in the first game of the series, before scoring two and one in the second and third games, respectively.


3rd Star: Jack Fortescue, University of Florida - 0 Goals, 9 Assists, 9 Points in 7 Games Played

The freshman blueliner assisted on nine of the Gators’ 32 goals this month, leading defensemen in points.

Division 3


1st Star: Grant Dietz, University of Southern Florida - 9 Goals, 11 Assists, 20 Points in 6 Games Played

The forward is off to a powerful start to the season, leading the Ice Bulls in goals and assists, with a 30-20-50 line on the season already. Dietz led all USF skaters in scoring in November, pushing them into second in CHS play.


2nd Star: Kieran Ogle, Middle Tennessee State University - 8 Goals, 9 Assists, 17 Points in 6 Games Played

Ogle added to his impressive goal total with the first-place MTSU Blue Raiders, netting his second hat-trick of the season against Kennesaw State in the Vet’s Cup. 8 of his points came that weekend, establishing him as a star forward. 


3rd Star: Nathan Walker, Florida Gulf Coast University - 8 Goals, 7 Assists, 15 Points in 6 Games Played

Walker broke out for FGCU in their two-game series against Notre Dame, tallying ten of his points (5 G, 5 A).

Men's ACDC


1st Star: Sebastian Powers, Saint Leo University - 5 Goals, 3 Assists, 8 Points in 2 Games Played

Powers led Saint Leo in scoring in November, as the Lions won both games against Georgia Southern. The forward had a hand in half of the team’s goals and scored five out of the 16.


2nd Star: Andy Coleman, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - 3 Goals, 4 Assists, 7 Points in 2 Games Played

The alternate captain netted three goals this month as the Eagles won two out of their three games for the second-place team. 


3rd Star: Augy Pescatore, Saint Leo University - 5 Goals, 1 Assist, 6 Points in 2 Games Played

Rounding out our ACDC stars is another Saint Leo Lion, who scored another third of the team’s November goals as they earned their first wins of the season.
