MyHockeyRankings - November 27

The first half of the 2024-25 season is coming to a close. Let's take a look at the teams currently sitting in position to go to Nationals.

College Hockey South Division 1 Teams

College Hockey South dominates the latest rankings edition, with the top four teams representing the conference. Georgia has held the top spot for three weeks after sweeping the Tampa Spartans in Clearwater, FL.

Speaking of Tampa, the Spartans ascended to the second spot despite not playing this week. Tampa is followed by South Carolina, which lost twice to the fourth-ranked Tennessee team this past weekend.

The top 16 teams in Division 1 receive an invite to Nationals.

College Hockey South Division 2 Teams

Middle Tennessee State reentered the top five this week after South Florida, the previous number five, captured two razor-thin margins against Embry-Riddle. The Blue Raiders join Florida Atlantic (#3) as the only College Hockey South teams in the top five.

The top 20 teams in Division 2 receive an invite to Nationals.

Other CHS teams ranking: Miami (21), Lynn (22), Vanderbilt (26), ERAU (29) Florida Southern (30), Georgia Tech (32), Alabama-Huntsville (43), Clemson (NR).

College Hockey South Division 3 Teams

Kennesaw State scored the weekend's biggest win in Division 3, besting Alabama 3-1. Unfortunately for the Owls, their win didn’t warrant jumping the Frozen Tide in the rankings. Kennesaw State is one of six College Hockey South teams that would qualify for Nationals if the season ended today.

The top 16 teams in Division 3 receive an invite to Nationals.

Other CHS teams ranking: Florida (23), Florida State (24), Florida Tech (30), USF (40), Miami (41), APSU (43), ERAU (44), UNF (48), EKU (50), Alabama-Birmingham (52).
