College Hockey South, in partnership with the Huntsville Sports Commission, proudly announces the return of the Veterans Cup to the Huntsville Ice Sports Center for the fifth consecutive season.
On November 8-9, 2025, four CHS programs will take the ice to honor America’s heroes and compete for one of the conference’s most meaningful trophies.
This year’s field features the University of Alabama (M3), Middle Tennessee State University (M3), Kennesaw State University (M3), and the University of Tennessee (M3). With two new contenders joining the competition, the 2025 edition of the Veterans Cup is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet.
Tournament Schedule
Saturday, November 8
5:30 PM CT – Alabama vs. Kennesaw State
8:15 PM CT – Middle Tennessee State vs. Tennessee
Sunday, November 9
10:00 AM CT – 3rd Place Game
12:45 PM CT – Championship Game
Tradition, Rivalry, and New Faces
The Middle Tennessee State University Blue Raiders return to defend their place as one of the South’s premier programs, following their CHS Division 2 Championship last season. Meanwhile, the University of Alabama is looking to bring the Veterans Cup back to Tuscaloosa for the second time.
Joining them are first-time participants Kennesaw State University and the University of Tennessee, both eager to make their mark on CHS history. With each program bringing its own style, identity, and pride, fans can expect a weekend full of competition, camaraderie, and respect for those who have served.
Tickets and Admission
Fans are invited to attend in person and experience the excitement live at the Huntsville Ice Sports Center.
Ticket Prices:
Weekend Pass – $20
Day Pass – $12
Kids (12 & under) – $5 per day
Veterans – Free all weekend

All games will also be streamed live on the College Hockey South YouTube Channel, allowing fans across the region to join in on the action and celebration.
