1st Star: Nina Molina, Clemson University (W) - 8 Goals, 2 Assists, 10 Points in 2 Games Played
After a disappointing weekend at the Gasparilla Showcase, Clemson’s Nina Molina had a return to form with two dominant performances against South Carolina and Alabama. Molina helped the Tigers overcome a 5-1 deficit against South Carolina in the GOTW, but they ultimately lost 7-6.
The following day, Molina was the centerpiece of an eye-popping 9-4 win over second-place Alabama. The Clemson forward finished with five goals and an assist to help end the Tigers’ four-game losing streak.
2nd Star: Grant Dietz, University of South Florida (M3) - 5 Goals, 3 Assists, 8 Points in 2 Games Played
Another familiar face in our three stars, Grant Dietz, wrapped up his stellar sophomore season with eight points against rival Tampa (M3) in two games. In 2025-2026, Dietz has scored 40 goals, 26 assists, for 66 points in 23 games. Dietz will surely be one of the top MVP candidates for Men’s Division 3.
3rd Star: Anna Zahorchak, University of Alabama (W) - 4 Goals, 2 Assists, 6 Points in 2 Games Played
Anna Zahorchak missed all of Alabama’s games in the fall semester and the first of the spring semester against Auburn. The sophomore forward was held scoreless in her first game of the season, but the next two were a different story.
Zahorchak scored three times in the Frozen Tide’s wild 8-7 overtime win against South Carolina on Saturday, helping Alabama secure the second seed in the CHS playoffs.
Congratulations to Nina Molina, Grant Dietz and Anna Zahorchak for earning honors as College Hockey South’s Three Stars of Week 18!
